Learn what hardware supports upgrades
1The Intel® Upgrade Service Performance Upgrades require the computer system to have an upgrade-enabled Intel CPU, BIOS, and chipset, network hardware and software, as well as connection with a power source and the Internet. The Intel® Upgrade Application must be deployed on the target computer running one of the supported operating systems in order to perform upgrade operations. Use of the upgrade may require configuration by the purchaser. The Intel Upgrade Service is not available in all geographies or on all computer systems. For more information, see your Intel representative or visit support.intel.com/support/go/upgradeservice.htm.
2The 2010 pilot program included a limited number of customers in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, and Spain.
