Other notes and restrictions:
- Intel® Xeon® processor 5500 series will support all timings defined by JEDEC.
- 256MB, 512MB, 4GB technologies, x4 DRAM on UDIMM and quad rank UDIMM are NOT supported.
- x16 DRAM is not supported on combo routing.
- All channels in a system will run at the fastest common frequency.
- No mixing of registered and unbuffered DIMMs.
- Mixing ECC and non-ECC UDIMMs anywhere on the platform will force system to run in non-ECC mode.
- No RAS support for non-ECC UDIMMs.
- No x4 SDDC support with UDIMM w/ECC, however, x8 SDDC is supported in lock step mode with x8 UDIMMs w/ECC.
