Felicitation Ceremony Report New Delhi, May 22, 2008

After a successful trip to the US and one of the best performances seen by team India at Intel® ISEF, the participants of this contingent were then felicitated by Kapil Sibal, Hon'ble Union Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences in New Delhi on May 22, 2008.

Mr. Kapil Sibal marked the alliance between DST, Intel & CII and highlighted the growing proposition to common mission of search of scientist among Young Indian Students.

Highlights:
Some of the highlights of this event are:

• A total of 24 journalists attended the event
• The event resulted in 10 clips and are on an average more than 2 columns each with majority of them carrying photographs from the event
• Pre-event interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Hindustan Times (to appear) and DD helped in driving Intel messaging
• Post-event interview with HBL resulted in coverage with strong Intel messaging
• Each Individual & Team was allowed to have a one-on-one conversation with Mr. Kapil Sibal sharing their experiences with him.
• The winners were remarked as a creative wealth of society.
• There was photograph session of ISEF winners -2008, with Mr. Kapil Sibal.
