Intel® Learn – Navjyoti India Foundation Relationship

The MOU between Intel and Navjyoti India Foundation (NIF) was signed on 4th February 2010 at the Delhi office of NIF. Under the aegis of the MoU, Intel Learn Program is being implemented for children of ages 8 to 16 years belonging to underserved communities with little or no access to technology.

Staff members have been trained by Intel and over 100 learners have enrolled for the program and are being trained in ‘Technology and Community’ curriculum module. The learner batches are being conducted in Bawana, a slum resettlement colony on the outskirts of Delhi.

The objective of the program is to develop digital literacy, critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration skills in children. It helps children and young people in underserved communities to make connections that enrich their lives and prepare them to succeed in the knowledge economy.
