The Intel® Higher Education Program team is pleased to welcome you to the 6th Asia Academic Forum to be held from November 10th to the 12th 2010 in Vietnam. The Asia Academic Forum will include key Intel technical experts and top professors from selected Asian universities in China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, and Vietnam to exchange ideas on current technology trends and challenges related to the forum theme of “Accelerating the Future through Research and Technology Innovation”.
The objectives of the forum are to:
Provide an update on Intel’s technology roadmap as well as the business and research directions of Intel Fellows and Executives that is tailored to the interests of the academia community.
Foster an environment of collaboration and opportunities for interaction between Intel Higher Education managers, faculty, and key Intel technologists.
Showcase the work of key faculties in curriculum development and research.
Provide a forum for sharing the research directions of the local and regional R&D teams.
Keynotes and three content tracks will be focused on:
A vital feature of the forum's agenda is a series of sessions which combine technical discussions with leading Intel Fellows and “Birds of a Feather” networking opportunities to share experiences and opinions. In addition, the forum will include an “Intel & Academia” panel discussion on various engineering technologies and the critical importance of research and innovation with Intel experts and fellow academic researchers.
The Asia Academic Forum has received overwhelming participation from Intel Fellows, Intel VP’s, Intel Director’s, Intel Principal Engineers, and Intel technologists from relevant Corporate and Asia business groups. We hope this event will provide you and your institute an opportunity to access the most advanced developments in these domains.
