Advanced Platform Development Center (APDC)

As an Intel Mobility Group R&D center in Beijing, the Advanced Platform Development Center (APDC) is chartered to innovate component technologies and system architectures for Intel future chipsets and platform products. Over the past a few years, APDC has defined the next generation PC audio standard - Intel HD Audio, which is adopted in the latest (915/925) and successive (ICH6-10) south bridge chipsets. As an important feature for Intel concept and reference mobile platforms, microphone array technology is being widely adopted in more and more OEM and ODM’s notebook products. Currently they are focusing on the next generation integrated graphics chip technology and product for GMCH and audio acceleration for ICH.
