Tristan Wilkinson

Director of Public Sector

Tristan is the Director for Public Sector in the UK for Intel EMEA, responsible for the Education, Healthcare and market expansion elements of Intel's UK business. His responsibilities cover the strategic direction for these areas as well as managing the team that deliver the day to day business initiatives. Tristan sits on several external committees including the BSG Digital Challenge steering group, Information Age Partnership and the Scottish Digital Inclusion panel as well as being a member of The Chemistry Club and the CBI.

Tristan has been with Intel for 6 years in a number of roles mostly within the Telecoms area and has maintained responsibility for a number of EMEA initiatives based around server and desktop platforms. Most recently Tristan has been working with Governments across EMEA to develop digital inclusion initiatives and was closely involved with the launch of the UK's Home Computing Initiative (HCI) in 2004.

Prior to Intel, Tristan was the Head of Marketing for PSINet a Global corporate ISP and Marketing Manager for Conduit Business Information, a supplier of database solutions.

Tristan holds an honours degree in Architecture from the University of Portsmouth and is married with two children.
