The Intel® Digital Media Software Enabling Kit v2.1 enables you to debug, test, and validate your networked digital media applications and devices.

The following tools are offered as part of this release:

  1. Digital Media Adapter (DMA): The Intel® Digital Media Adapter Client Software Version 2.1 enables independent hardware and software vendors to develop and test Intel Viiv™-compatible products by simulating a hardware DMA on any desktop PC or notebook computer. It also allows hardware developers to compare their functionality with a DLNA 1.5/1.0 compliant DMA implementation.
  2. Intel®Network Packet Loader and Error Simulator: This tool enables developers and testers to generate a workload on a multi-node network that targets a specific computer. Developers and testers will be able to quickly and easily generate different network loads, network errors, and dropped packets to simulate different network environments.
  3. Intel®Audio/Video Network Debugger: This powerful tool uses real time network packet capture technology combined with a simple graphical user interface to help developers identify and debug network issues. It recognizes digital home protocols and popular audio and video formats, making it easier and faster to debug interoperability issues.
