Our employee resource groups support Intel’s diversity strategy by providing powerful networks that assist with recruiting, integration, networking, and mentoring. They also provide professional development and volunteer activities that build camaraderie and support our communities.
Intel maintains strong alliances with national organizations that address and promote topics related to advancing diverse talent. In addition to sponsoring and participating in events hosted by these organizations, we serve as trusted advisors and partners in creating solutions for the issues facing diverse populations.
On January 6, 2015, CEO Brian Krzanich announced the Diversity in Technology Initiative. To support this initiative, Intel has set a bold new hiring and retention goal to achieve full representation of women and underrepresented minorities at Intel by 2020. Intel also plans to help build a pipeline of female and underrepresented engineers and computer scientists, to actively support hiring and retaining more women and underrepresented minorities, and to fund programs to support representation within the technology and gaming industries.

Intel is helping transform the lives of millions through education. We are committed to programs and initiatives that ensure underserved and underrepresented students have access to technology and are inspired to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The Intel Computer Clubhouse Network is an after-school community-based learning program that gives underserved youth the chance to access and explore cutting-edge technology. Our Diversity Scholar Program gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience as Intel interns, while our Stay With It™ online community is designed to motivate engineering students on their path to graduation.
