Optimizing 3D Applications: Intel® Atom™ Processor-Based PlatformAbstractThis paper presents 3D application optimization techniques that are particularly suitable for low-power platforms based on the Intel® Atom™ processor and the POWERVR* SGX graphics core, such as those featuring the Intel Atom processor Z5xx Series and Intel® System Controller Hub US15W, and similar future platforms. More specifically, the paper discusses the distribution of tasks between the CPU and the GPU, and the optimization of the interactions between these components.
