Act Now Events
What is Act Now?
Intel is committed to providing education and economic empowerment to girls and women around the world. Intel helps make this a global priority as a founding corporate sponsor of “10x10: Educate Girls. Change the World.”
Supported by Act Now campus events, 10x10 is a film and social-action campaign that tells the stories of 10 girls from 10 countries in the developing world. Each mini-screen play is written by a celebrated female writer and narrated by an A-list actress.
Act Now and 10x10 illustrate how girls and women can reach their individual potential, support their families, and contribute to the economic growth of their communities and the global economy.
Past Act Now events have taken place at San Jose State University and the University of California Los Angeles, as well as with Arizona State University’s Women in Science and Engineering (WISE).
