K-12 Education in Asia Pacific
Students deserve to have the tools they need to become the next generation of innovators. Throughout the Asia Pacific Region, Intel works with governments, educators, NGOs, multilateral organizations, universities, and local communities to transform education for the 21st century.
In the last decade, Intel has invested over $1 billion dollars and close to 3 million employee volunteer hours worldwide to improve teaching and learning.
Intel’s Education Transformation Model
Intel’s model of education transformation promotes educational excellence by making learning more personalized and developing 21st century skills, such as digital literacy, problem solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. These skills are best developed in school environments that make learning more personal and are supported by technology.
In the Asia Pacific Region, we seek to improve education systems and successfully integrate and implement each component of the education transformation model.
A solid foundation in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) is crucial for success in a knowledge-based economy. In Asia Pacific, Intel’s STEM initiatives provide opportunities for schools, teachers, and students to excel.
Technology in the Classroom
Intel® Education Solutions include hardware, software, locally relevant content, infrastructure, and training to help students learn and develop skills needed for economic opportunities.
The Intel World Ahead Program promotes improved learning in Asia Pacific by enabling access to technology and information, facilitating collaboration, encouraging creativity, and improving communication.
