Gather the following product information before contacting Intel:
The model of the motherboard the defective processor was installed in
The model number of any alternative parts used to confirm the processor is defective (ex. second motherboard or another processor)
All the markings from the top of the defective processor and the processor fan/heatsink. See the information below regarding processor and fan markings.
