The BIOS ID code on your computer can confirm if you have a retail Intel® Desktop Board. Follow these steps to find the BIOS ID code:
- During boot, press F2 to enter BIOS Setup.
- On the main menu, make note of the BIOS version (first item on this menu).
- Press F10 to exit BIOS Setup.

Example of BIOS version:SGP4510H.86A.0121.2009.0828.0117 | |
The first two sections of the BIOS version indicate the BIOS ID code (in the example above - SGP4510H.86A). This ID code must exactly match one of the BIOS ID codes listed below. If they match, you have an Intel® retail desktop board and Intel offers product support.
If the first two sections do not match, your desktop board was manufactured for a specific third-party manufacturer. You should contact that manufacturer for help with your board.
