BIOS does not identify or recognize the processor

The BIOS must identify the processor correctly for proper system operation. If the BIOS does not correctly identify the processor, check with the system or motherboard manufacturer to make sure the processor is supported. Also check for newly revised BIOS updates and installation instructions.
